Coolstream Ventilation believes in protecting the environment. We acknowledge that our activities have an effect on the local, regional and global environment and that we have responsibilities under environmental legislation. Coolstream Ventilation endeavours to create and maintain sustainable business practices and is committed to minimising the amount of energy we use and where reasonably practicable will use sources of energy that are environmentally safe and sustainable.

Our air conditioning design and installation projects involve the latest ozone friendly refrigerant with zero ozone depletion potential – R410A. Our installation packages also feature groundbreaking inverter technology. By matching compressor speeds to the cooling or heating loads of a room, up to 30% reduction in energy consumption can be achieved. Our specifications provide the option to offset installation costs through the Government’s Enhanced Capital Allowance scheme too.

As part of our environmental policy we continuously strive to lead the way in our awareness of environmental issues, regulations and accreditations.

Coolstream Ventilation clients could be eligible for an interest free loan from the Carbon Trust when they replace old, inefficient equipment with energy saving air conditioning or electrical packages on their premises. Businesses can borrow £3,000 to £400,000 after following a straight forward application process.

The size of the loan offered and its repayment period is based on the company’s projected CO2 savings, which is assessed by the Carbon Trust. Coolstream Ventilation is able to assist customers in the application process, providing them with energy consumption details about the air conditioning package being installed.
